Circle "C" Stable is owned and operated by Cindy Nimtz. Cindy has always had a passion for horses as well as education. She attended Western Michigan University where she earned a teaching degree. After teaching riding lessons and being involved with 4H for 15 years during her evenings and weekends, she started her own stable in the spring of 2001 and truly dove into her passion. Her boarding facility has grown to house 20 horses. She currently trains, teaches riding lessons, hosts equine assisted learning sessions and demonstrations, and partners with Niles Community Schools for two service learning programs: Reaching for the Reins and Stable Paths.

As part of Cindy's instructional methodology, she focuses on building relationships of mutual trust and working with the horses rather than exerting control over them. A big part of her relationship building involves closely observing each horse, acknowledging their uniquely individual personalities, and understanding how they react to external situations and behaviors. This not only helps her students be successful with horses but also in their personal interactions with others. Developing the skill for really listening to others and working with them is invaluable in every facet of life.
